Interview with the amazing Gina + Camron:

HOW DID YOU MEET? This is our story as told by Gina…as Camron watches football 🙂 We met our sophomore year in college at UNC (University of Northern Colorado); although did not start dating until many years later. After graduation Camron moved to the mountains to enjoy skiing while studying for law school (which he later decided against) and I went to work for an engineering company that I interned at during my under grad studies. A couple years later, Camron would move to Palm Springs to manage a private golf resort and I was relocated to New York City for work.
We Started Dating: During a weekend trip home in 2008, Camron and I both attended a BBQ at a friends house (thank you Dylan and Laura) where we reconnected and spent much of the party catching up on the last few years. A couple weekends later we saw each other again and it was then that Camron and I realized that we were both moving back home and would hopefully see much more of one another.
In August of 2008, I hosted an annual White Party – a time to celebrate the end of Summer with friends and family and it was there that Camron and I would share our first kiss 🙂
We Move-In Together: That Summer Camron bought a condo and started a job with the Marriott company while I was still living in NY (although coming home nearly every weekend). Our first official date was painting his new place and was also the first time I met his sister (Courtney) and mom (Connie). Could a first date be anymore romantic than painting…..I do love a nicely painted house. Camron and I have been together since then and dated long-distance (thank goodness for frequent flyer points). I was able to move home in December of 2009 and shortly after, Camron and I moved in together. About a year later, we outgrew the condo and moved to our house in Brighton, where we currently live.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU THE MOST TO YOUR HUSBAND/WIFE?
For Camron – Gina’s ambition and drive
For Gina – His smile and easy-going personality
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
On December 2, 2011 Camron and I were engaged! Camron really stepped up the romance from our first date when he asked me to marry him. We were in Palm Springs with friends; where if you recall, Camron had managed a golf resort years prior and knew it would be the perfect setting. It was nearly sunset and we were riding around on the golf cart touring his old “stomping ground”. We parked our cart and made the short walk to the top of a hill with breathtaking views of the sunset and sounds of a water fall in the background. He didn’t give me much time to think about what we were doing up there and with the sunset in front of us, he took my hand, got on one knee, and with nerves in his voice asked me to be his wife and share his future…..I think we all know I said YES!
